Last Friday, the Kamala Harris campaign set a new attendance record for her rally at the Shell Energy Stadium in Houston, TX, which reportedly boasted 30,000 supporters in and around the venue with over 1.5 million registered to attend.

The star-studded event featured a performance from country legend Willie Nelson, and included speeches from Kelly Rowland (looking iconic in fashionably oversized menswear) and her former Destiny’s Child bandmate, Beyoncé.

It was a rare public appearance for the Cowboy Carter superstar, who showed up at her hometown’s rally to formally endorse the Harris for president after previously giving the VP permission to use her 2016 song “Freedom” for the campaign.
