It’s rare that a musical delivers exactly what its title says, but in the case of The Big Gay Jamboree, the truth is in the advertising. From the wild minds of Marla Mindelle (who created the hit Titaníque) and co-creators Jonathan Parks-Ramage and Phillip Drennen comes the queerest spectacle to hit New York since … well, ever.

The over-the-top Off-Broadway production (in the best possible way) mashes up some of our favorite sequences as its lead character finds herself trapped in a musical in Bareback, Idaho — who wouldn’t want to leave?
