Burroughs novel of the same name, the director & writer Justin Kuritzkes (reuniting shortly after Challengers) start things out straightforward enough: Following American writer Lee (Daniel Craig) as he whiles away the hours in 1950 Mexico City while becoming hopelessly infatuated with younger ex-pat Allerton (Drew Starkey).
