Cops: California Man Conspired With WI Mass Shooter

CBS News reports: 

A 20-year-old Carlsbad man is accused of plotting a mass shooting at a government building in conjunction with Madison, Wisconsin, school shooter Samantha Rupnow’s attack at the Abundant Life Christian School.

According to a gun violence restraining order obtained by CBS 8, FBI agents served Alexander Paffendorf after discovering Paffendorf was in contact with Rupnow and coordinating an attack at a local government building.

This is a civil action, not a criminal action. But it does allow officers to seize weapons. Paffendorf, according to the restraining order, admitted facts to FBI agents in a subsequent interview.
