Ah, the year 2000—when frosted tips were in, flip phones were revolutionary, and Y2K anxiety had us all side-eyeing our microwaves. While CD sales were hitting their peak that year, LGBTQ+ artists weren’t quite dominating the mainstream as they are able to now. But, trust and believe, we all know those few tracks that made us feel seen and found their way into our CD players. Don’t remember?
