Babygirl‘s Nicole Kidman has reflected on her third time playing a supportive parent of an LGBTQ child, after Boy Erased and The Prom.

Speaking in a new interview with Attitude, the acting icon said she makes her artistic choices “knowing what I’m doing.”

She is literally mother!

In the film, the Oscar-winner plays Romy, a CEO who has an affair with her much younger intern. The film contrasts Romy’s exploration of her sexuality with the more casual and drama-free journey of her teenage daughter, who is queer, played by Esther Rose McGregor.
