Felon Has Mark Milley’s Portrait Removed At Pentagon
Politico reports:
The portrait of Gen. Mark Milley, the former Chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, disappeared Monday from the Pentagon — less than three hours after President Donald Trump took office.
Incoming Defense Department officials did not explain the portrait’s removal, which the Biden administration hung less than two weeks ago in the spot with other former Pentagon chairs.
President Joe Biden, in his last hours in office, issued a preemptive pardon for Milley and other officials who he feared Trump would retaliate against for real or perceived slights. A Pentagon spokesperson referred all questions to the White House, which did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
