What makes a “family” & do pets count? The gay internet is currently engaged in heated debate
A posting on Threads, which we suspect many LGBTQ+ will identify with, has prompted a mixed reaction online.
Threads user Bilal Qasimi posted, “Stop saying ‘start a family’ when you mean ‘have children.’ A couple is still a family. A single person and their cat are a family. A couple and their plants are still a family. Three oddly close roommates could be a family. You don’t need children to be a family.”

How about we take this to the next level?
