Julia Fox drops major tea on the stalled Madonna biopic: “I don’t know if I’m supposed to talk about this”

Julia Fox is a causing a commotion.

On Wednesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, the Uncut Gems star, who seemingly came out as a lesbian last year on TikTok, dropped some knowledge on the long-gestating Madonna biopic and where her role playing the Queen of Pop’s bestie, actress Debi Mazar, stands.

If you recall, Madonna had been working on the screenplay since 2020, initially enlisting Oscar-winning writer Diablo Cody to do the first pass on the script, which was set take on the singer’s rise from arriving in NYC at 19 in 1979 and culminating with the Blond Ambition Tour in 1990, per Indiewire.
