Fashion designer Bob Mackie has been talking about his career and one of his most famous clients: Cher.

Mackie, 85, and Cher began working together in earnest in the 1970s. He designed many of her most eye-catching outfits, embracing a motto of “more razzle-dazzle, less fabric” for the star.

However, it turns out that he cringes when he thinks about one particular outfit — and it’s one of Cher’s most famous.
