Chappell Roan scrubbed herself for ‘days’ to remove Governor’s Ball body paint: ‘I spread my cheeks’
Chappell Roan is hailed for her daring, drag-inspired looks, but the reality behind her iconic wardrobe is sometimes less than glamorous, the star has revealed.
Following her iconic New York Governor’s Ball Performance, where Roan embodied Lady Liberty, the singer revealed that she had to scrub herself for “days” to remove her green body paint.
The style icon told Alex Cooper on a recent episode of her Call Her Daddy podcast that the body paint from her Statue of Liberty costume “didn’t come off”.
