Colin Farrell in talks with ‘Queer’ director Luca Guadagino to play this comic book action hero

Irish actor Colin Farrell is reportedly in talks to play another comic book role. It follows his award-winning, unrecognizable turn as The Penguin. 

Farrell is apparently keen to play World War II action hero Sgt. Rock in a big-budget adaptation from DC Studios. 

The movie will be helmed by Luca Guadagnino, the Italian director of Call Me By Your Name, Challengers and Queer.
