Comedian Amber Ruffin dropped from White House press dinner after calling Trump administration ‘murderers’

Comedian and actress Amber Ruffin has been dropped as the host of an upcoming White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner because of disparaging comments she made about the current administration.

In a recent episode of The Daily Beast Podcast, Ruffin was asked about how she was preparing for the upcoming gig. She revealed to hosts Joanna Coles and Samantha Bee that she had been asked in advance to please roast both Republican and Democratic politicans at the dinner.

Regarding this request, Ruffin referred to the Trump administration as “kind of a bunch of murderers”.
