DeSantis Taps Chief Of Staff As Florida Attorney General

Uthmeier orchestrated the DeSantis administration’s crusade against ballot measures that would have legalized recreational weed and enshrined the right to abortion access. Before joining the DeSantis team, Uthmeier served as chief counsel to then-US Commerce Sec. Wilbur Ross.
