Dwayne Johnson or Chris Evans? ‘Red One’ has the gays between The Rock and a hard place

The new holiday film Red One, starring Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans, might be the most thirst-worthy cinematic showdown since, well, The Gray Man, starring Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans.

In the film, out in U.S. theaters now, Santa Claus a.k.a. “Red One” is kidnapped, and it’s up to the North Pole’s head of security (Johnson) and the world’s most infamous bounty hunter (Evans) to rescue him. Amazon MGM Studios calls the caper a “globe-trotting, action-packed mission to save Christmas.”

Red One was directed by Jake Kasdan, who worked with Johnson in the Jumanji franchise, and written by Chris Morgan, a Johnson collaborator from the Fast & Furious franchise.
