Lesbian Visibility Week 2025 will be celebrated from 21 to 27 April, and will highlight issues still facing queer women and non-binary people.

The celebration expands on Lesbian Visibility Day and aims to give a platform to LGBTQ+ women and non-binary people from all generations. The concept dates back to when an event was held annually in California between 1990 and 1992 and was partially funded by the city of West Hollywood.

Lesbian Visibility Day re-emerged as a single day of celebration in the UK in 2008, and has been endorsed by organisations such as Stonewall and UK Black Pride. Lesbian Visibility Week made a triumphant return in 2020, founded by Diva magazine publisher Linda Riley.
