‘Give Me A Chance’: Adoptive Family Abandons Young LGBTQ+ Teen After 7 Years

A heartbroken Oklahoma teen is once again searching for a forever family after their adoptive parents abandoned them after discovering the child was queer.

Dax, 16, told Oklahoma City’s KFOR-TV their family “started not loving me anymore” — seven years after they adopted Dax through the foster care system.

“It was nice, but then they like – they started not loving me anymore for who I was, being LGBTQ,” Dax told News 4.

Dax, who loves school and raising chickens, now dreams of finding the perfect family.

“Probably a same-sex couple or someone who is very understanding of my situation,” Dax said.
