I’m scared to hit on guys because so many “aren’t into Asians.” How can I overcome this?

Hi Jake,

I’m Filipino and I really struggle with dating in the gay community. I feel like I have a strike against me just because of my ethnicity. So many guys, especially white guys, on the apps say they “aren’t into Asians.”

I know not every white guy is racist or has a preference for non-Asian guys, but at the same time, I’ve been ghosted a lot after they realize I’m Asian. I have also received directly racist comments.

How about we take this to the next level?
