Khalid was outed and celebrated his queer identity: “I am not ashamed of my sexuality”

Khalid, the Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter, has come out as queer in an inspiring statement on X that highlights his pride in himself and his community.

The music artist posted the messages in response to him being outed by someone else on the X app — though the singer didn’t directly name who outed him. Khalid took to X on Friday to share a series of posts in reference to his queer identity. The Internet instantly went wild with support.
