Kim Petras becomes second-ever trans woman to get Madame Tussauds waxwork – and it’s spot-on

Singer-songwriter Kim Petras has been honoured with her very own Madame Tussauds waxwork figure – becoming only the second trans woman ever to get one.

“The highlight of my career has been my wax figure at Madame Tussauds, there’s no question about it,” Petras said in a video posted to Madame Tussauds Berlin’s website which showed her working with the wax museum’s technicians to create her waxwork figure.

Petras sat for her wax figure in Los Angeles, with the whole experience taking four hours in total, and the final version looks just like her.

Back in 2015, actress Laverne Cox became the first trans person to get a wax figure at Madame Tussauds in the 200-year history of the museum.
