Madonna honors Trans Day of Visibility by recreating her iconic ‘Desperately Seeking Susan’ look
Over the weekend, Madonna got into the groove to celebrate a major career milestone and to support trans rights.
While the Queen of Pop has ruled over music since day one, her film pursuits have been a bit more divisive. That being said, her first major motion picture, for which she received good reviews, just celebrated its 40th anniversary.
On March 29, 1985, Desperately Seeking Susan was released in theaters as Madonna’s pop career exploded into the stratosphere after achieving her first number one record with “Like A Virgin”.
