Marvel confirms full cast for Avengers: Doomsday, including queer X-Men stars

The cast of Avengers: Doomsday has officially been revealed by Marvel – and it includes two LGBTQ+ stars of the original X-Men trilogy, Alan Cumming and Sir Ian McKellen.

So far, in typical Marvel fashion, very little is known about the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday, save from, thanks to a lengthy livestream today (26 March), its cast and that it’s now in production.

And while some expected names were revealed (via director’s chairs, no less), Marvel fans also got a few surprises thrown their way – including some stars of the original, early 2000s X-Men franchise.
