Melania laughs as she unveils a grift that even some supporters blast as “idiocy”

Melania Trump yesterday launched her own cryptocurrency. She took to social media to announce the launch of $MELANIA.

“The Official Melania Meme is live! You can buy $MELANIA now,” she said on X. The meme featured a black-and-white photo of her appearing to be laughing. She also included a link where people can buy digital assets.

That site reveals the crypto is created and tracked on the Solana blockchain. It also claims the “digital collectible” is “not intended to be, or to be the subject of, an investment opportunity, investment contract, or security of any type.”
