“No matter what, we can rise”: Cheerleaders for the LA Rams pay homage to their city after playoff win
As members of the Los Angeles Rams cheer team, Eswinn D. and Jose C. feel a deep kinship with their city. That’s one of the reasons they felt so much pride this week, when the Rams ousted the Minnesota Vikings in the NFL playoffs.
Temporarily relocated due to the LA fires, the Rams hosted the Vikings in the Arizona Cardinals’ home stadium, about 375 miles from the tragic devastation.
Though the Rams were playing in a neighboring state, their hearts and minds were in LA. Before kick-off, they paid tribute to the first responders, and held a moment of silence
