Over the weekend, it was announced that out actor Richard Chamberlain had passed at the age of 90 due to complications from a stroke. Rest in peace to a true Hollywood heartthrob.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Chamberlain began acting in his twenties after a stint serving in the U.S. Army, and had his breakthrough with the NBC medical drama Dr. Kildare in the titular role, which firmly cemented him as a teen idol of the era, as women and men alike swooned over his all-American good looks and deep baritone voice.
