Rupert Everett opens up about his wild days in the London gay scene: “I loved being a leather queen”

Actor, writer and director Rupert Everett is the latest guest to feature on the podcast Mad, Sad and Bad. It’s hosted by the British singer Paloma Faith.
The out gay actor is known for his appearances in movies such as My Best Friend’s Wedding and The Happy Prince. He’s the voice of Prince Charming in Shrek and has appeared in dozens of TV shows.
Besides his acting work, he’s also penned candid memoirs about his life and career. His first one was the rumored cause of his falling out with former good friend Madonna after he dished on working with her in the 2000 flop The Next Best Thing.
