Source reveals the reason Denzel Washington’s gay kiss was axed from ‘Gladiator II’

An insider has offered an explanation as to why a gay kiss actor Denzel Washington performed in Gladiator II was cut from the final version.

Last week, talking to Gayety, Washington, 69, was asked how gay the Roman Empire was.

“I actually kissed a man in the film,” Washington replied. “But they took it out. They cut it. I think they got chicken… I kissed a guy full on the lips. I guess they weren’t ready for that yet.”
