If you’re looking for an excuse to light some candles, get out the mud masks, and froth up a bubble bath, this is it: April 5 is National Body Care Day.

Self-care has become a $5.6-trillion industry, but you don’t actually have to spend money to improve your physical, mental, and emotional health. Some of the easiest and most inexpensive strategies — getting enough sleep, drinking water, doing physical activity — are some of the most effective.

And sometimes, self-care involves just doing absolutely nothing but staying in bed, feating on pizza, and binge-watching The Traitors. Whatever works, right?
