These aren’t your grandma’s Golden Girls!

At long last, we have our first full look at Mid-Century Modern, a new sitcom that takes a classic TV formula—a group of “old” friends cohabitate in a house together, hijinks ensue—and gives it a big gay twist. (Considering the aforementioned Golden Girls is still beloved by LGBTQ+ audiences today, that’s saying something.)

Transporting audiences to Palm Springs, CA—where things are always sunny & gay—the series opens on a funeral, of all places, where long-time pals Bunny Schneiderman (Nathan Lane), Jerry Frank (Matt Bomer), and Arthur Broussard (Nathan Lee Graham) are reunited to mourn a dear friend.
