What’s one aspect of your gay life that straight people will never understand & why?

One of the biggest advantages to being gay is the lack of stifling societal norms. Free from the shackles of heteronormativity, we are gifted with the blessing to enjoy life on our own timelines. There’s no unspoken need to get married by 30, live behind that white picket fence by 35, and be ready to send kids off to college shortly thereafter.

But all of our queer freedom means our lives inevitable diverge from our straight counterparts. Whether it’s queening out on music video night or hitting up the club scene as adults rather than adolescents, straight bros cannot imagine the fun we’re having!
